This free bird (click on the picture to see him big) accosted me the other day in my garden and was way too much to tolerate. He would not stop counseling me despite my best efforts to get rid of his unsolicited advices. But he posed knowledgeable! I asked him his age. He answered, “you need to learn a lot. I am a creature and can think, so I do not have age but experience and value. You can ask my value and experience in this world or field I am into, but not the age. You can inquire about that (age) from a ship, a machine, a building (not the land though, since it does not age), a car, the watch on your wrist and other things but not any creature who thinks."
Fast he flew away to lecture others elsewhere!
I am still thinking about this stupid bird. Was he correct? Don't we grow in terms of age but in terms of value and experience in life?
